The xenomorph from Alien remains one of the creepiest creature designs. When artists approach them with horror in mind they have a genuinely unsettling and terrifying menace to them ( @tyrannojones work on Aliens is a perfect example of this). Here's my latest shot at one.

I've got a copy of this amazing Corto Maltese piece by @johnpaulleon set as my desktop wallpaper. It's endlessly inspiring and every time I look at it I feel like I see something new on the page. I love seeing raw inks scanned like this, you can see so much amongst the layers.

SCI-FEB day 7 - Star Wars Went for a minimal colour approach on this one, and no grey-wash either as I felt like that would have buried the sharpness of the inks. I'm genuinely happy with how this one turned out.

Scanned that Texas Chainsaw Massacre page. I'd been working on something else that day that just wasn't clicking, so I set it aside and thought I'd try doing a single page piece that was unrelated to anything else. It was a nice reset that got me into a clearer mindset.

Close up on another section of the Hellboy commission. This was a really interesting element to ink as it's easy to get carried away with the textures and lose some focus/clarity. I'm happy with the balance here.
