Truthfully you never know whose life you touch when you’re on the radio. I recently received this incredibly generous gift from an anonymous listener. They commissioned Argentinian artist Pilar Larcade to create this amazing likeness as a ‘Thank you’. I’m truly grateful. Jim x

As a boy, I saw Steve at the Radio 1 Roadshow in Weymouth. It’s one of the main reasons I wanted to do this job. I never got a chance to thank him, but his talent & enthusiasm for radio lives on in all those he inspired. His legacy is unmeasurable & I will be forever grateful.
