Tomorrow will be an unbelievable occasion for everyone involved with Cliftonville. There is something special about playing for Cliftonville and pulling on that shirt, and that something is our fans. They deserve this, so let's win the Irish Cup for them.
#RedArmy
Delighted for the players on winning the league tonight. Couldn't have asked to have 2 better men in
@watsyfella
and
@deco_83
to develop them and create that winning mentality. 🔴⚽️
Delighted to be supported by the board to make this strategy a reality. Our elite youth teams training 4 times per week with nutrition and s&c plans implemented with a pathway into our u18s full time academy.
⚽️ Cliftonville FC are delighted to announce our new youth development strategy, which will introduce full-time training schedules for our Under-13 to Under-16 elite teams.

Harry cavan cup final here we come. These kids deserved tonight and I couldn't be prouder of them. Also
@watsyfella
and liam
@teamfeepay
this is a reward for your years of dedication and effort at the football club. Love everyone of yous
No reason we can't take 9 points from the next 3 league games at home. With the top 4 playing each other during this period it's a massive month. Let's be positive and back the players and be that 12th man.
Delighted to be accepted on Uefa A Advanced Youth Licence with the
@ScottishFA
. This will complete every license possible on the Uefa Pathway and be valuable learning.

Abair tadhal airson McStravick air an leth fhodharlag! Tha Airdrieonians air ais san geama.
McStravick's fantastic strike gets Airdrieonians back on level terms.
Because of my job Im as guilty as anyone of taking football to serious at all levels. Watching my daughter and seeing her happy and care free with no pressure is a reminder of what sport is all about for kids.
Delighted for liam and delighted I can start supporting him again 🤣. More importantly delighted for my friend and his dad who coached and guided him throughout his career. One of the coaching good luck stories
@teamfeepay
✍️ | We are delighted to announce the signing of Northern Irish winger Liam McStravick, who joins from Linfield for an undisclosed fee subject to international clearance. Full story to follow.
🗞 On a night that saw Cliftonville strike the woodwork FOUR times, Rory Hale’s finishing prowess proved the difference against Glenavon at Mourneview Park.

⚽️ Cliftonville Football Club are pleased to announce a partnership with Belfast Metropolitan College that will provide boys and girls in our Academy with a unique pathway to internationally recognised qualifications.

Funding facility's will improve the professionalism and development within clubs, but more importantly can improve the quality of life of individuals and communities, promote social inclusion, improve health, counter anti-social behaviour, raise individual self-esteem.
Thoughts on David healy speaking after the game today? scathing of the international youth system in Northern Ireland and lack of training facilities. What needs improved and how?
My daughter sent me a card today and after crying, I couldn't be prouder of the girl she has became. Braver than any girl I know and I miss her like mad, but people's health comes before anything at the minute.

The fact Sean Moore has been overlooked by
@IrishFA
is nothing short of a disgrace after being repeatedly told. However it has been County Antrim’s gain getting him, scary thing is he is a young 2005 and still at school. A joy to work with
2009s started a long term strength and conditioning programme tonight. All academy teams starting from under 11 will now train 3 days per week and strength and conditioning will be compulsory as part of the long term development.
1 of the 4 academy players who played tonight which is Unbelievable. Great performance, and brilliant seeing young players thrive and be trusted to play in big games.
The pathway to the first team has never been stronger. The number of young players progressing to the first team and showing quality is a credit to all the coaches who put hard work in developing these boys . 🔴⚽️
I can get on a boat to Scotland with 300 people, inside and unsupervised but I can't go to a match outside and supervised. Sport being punished and destroyed at every level without a voice and yet probably one of the safest environments possible.
One of my biggest achievements is starting this league with 4 teams and seeing its growth. Excited to be moving into 5aside and already securing 40 teams in its first year. League would be nothing without the support from clubs, coaches and players. Thank you
Final photos of an amazing programme. We look forward to returning in august with our new 2017,2016,2015s (5aside) and girls section. Currently we have 120 entries and always looking for new clubs to join the programme
If ever there was a time to realise the value of volunteer coaches within the club and Country. Many people gave up voluntary hours to help develop Sean, no more than
@watsyfella
and liam Mcstravick
@teamfeepay
Great achievement for a 16 year old and hopefully the start of a very successful career. More evidence of a successful academy and a club willing to invest in youth players.
If kids are on 2 weeks holiday from school and not allowed any organised sport, surely this will create much bigger problems with unorganised gatherings, unorganised sport and anti social behaviour?
@kennybpb
@DeirdreHargey
Look at these young people from Saturday. Teams from all over the country and every community, 1000 young people every saturday at Solitude. Football is a massive driving force behind all good in this country and we owe it to these young people to provide better facilities.
🔴 Cliftonville Football Club can confirm that Declan O'Hara has been named Interim Manager as we begin the process of appointing a permanent full-time Manager.

Big read tomo:
"Tommy would say to me: ‘Just go and play.’ I loved that he’d have confidence in his players to make decisions on the pitch" - The life & times of Cliftonville's Chris Curran
Many thanks to Chris, Gearoid McKieran, George McMullan & Whitey Anderson
Love this pic
What a club, and what a team. Management and players have been outstanding all year, only losing once and now a cup final. Proud of them all
@UncleLroyCFC
Just watched one of our teams get beat comfortably. Not because they were outplayed but because of a masterclass from a young striker (11), the best I have seen in a long time. Look forward to watching his progress. ⚽🔴
Good luck to all and be well deserved. Shay winning or potentially winning young player of the year after sean moore speaks volumes about the club. 🔴⚽️
Always progressing and trying to give our players the best opportunity to develop. Youth Football has evolved and we must move with the times to offer young players the best experience possible. 🔴⚽️
Tonight was the beginning of our full-time training for our Elite squads from u12 to u16. This will give players 4 years of full time training before the transition into our U18s who are already full-time. 🔴⚽️
Was told at school constantly I would never be a professional footballer. I done no gcses, and spent 14 years full time and still work in the game. Always follow your dream
Partick Thistle and Ayr Utd meet for the 5th time this season this evening as they go head to head at Firhill in the 1st leg of the Premiership Play Off Semi Final.
Thistle have won two of the previous four meetings, with one draw and one win for the Honest Men.
One of my biggest achievements in life is starting and growing this league. Wouldn't be possible without the help of some amazing people and clubs. And to watch my daughter play in the league has been the perfect end to 2023
2023 was our biggest year yet, with over 200 teams, 6 venues, 3 age groups and over 1500 players competing weekly. We look forward to making more memories in 2024 in the
@fonacabbelfast
development league.
