ECU missed 2 kicks on Saturday. ECU tore down two goal posts at Carter-Finley stadium. Jimmy V was the AD when he canceled the ECU schedule for tearing down said goalposts. The missed kicks missed both wide left and right, forming a perfect V. We all know who to thank, now.

Final note and then I'm moving on. I remember only 2 jump shots from DJ Burns. The other 13 shots were in the paint, backing down and absorbing contact every time he went up for a shot. He shot 1 FT all night. Filipowski shot 9 FTs. The bigs weren't officiated evenly. Period.

Bottom line -- physical, aggressive defense is penalized and flopping is rewarded. NC State has played tenacious defense this season. They are averaging the most blocks in ACC. But instead of calling things correctly, officials don't know what a foul is. Accountability. Now.

If (when) State doesn't make the tournament, you have to cut him loose, right? Game/roster mismanagement aside, you have to make the tourney consistently. 2/7 is bad. 0 wins since 2015 is bad. State needed to win 14 ACC games at least. Not happening when you lose to VT at home

Since 2005 when the ACC went to divisions, Clemson or Florida State has won the ACC 11 out of a possible 17 times. I forget, which division are they in? And is it NC State or UNC that has to play them every year? And is it NC State or UNC that has a .460 W% since 2000?

Divisions isn’t the issue for NC State. This is just who the program is. They haven’t won an ACC Championship since 1979 but it’s “the Atlantic being tougher” that’s held them back. Carolina hasn’t won one since 1980 but it ain’t like they’re winning the Coastal every year.

This isn't a good football team. Hopefully, u knew that going into the season. Covid year changed things for teams like State. They are young and inexperienced. As I've said, this is a 7-win team, tops. This is a rebuild season. And 7 wins is fine for that IMO. MJ season 2024

NC State/Keatts has to figure out this rotation. Too many minutes for certain players atm. Then you see guys like Pass come in and play well and contribute to the offense, but then he only plays for 3 minutes. This is a problem.
