Remember when contact tracing was a thing? If someone became infected with a BSL3 pathogen they’d warn everyone they’d been in contact with so they could start monitoring for symptoms & get a PCR. We even had an app. People seemed to care then. Now, we guess, we infect. Bravo.

Went to a women's health centre (wh/ also serves pregnant women). Mine was the only N95. Only 2 surgical masks. Was told masks are optional. "We have to get back to normal at some point." How is this normal? We wouldn't be acting this way if 1 in 20 were infected by tuberculosis.

I am officially boycotting @CBCNews . I am exhausted by the two-sides approach -- if you're even lucky to get 2 sides. Why must we be subjected to biased, #UrgencyOfNormal , dangerous "medical" opinions that promote individualism and ableism?

Why must I explain that masks prevent transmission of SARS - a BSL3 pathogen that causes vascular, immune, & cognitive damage, & that the pandemic isn't over by a long shot? C19 worsens & creates mental health challenges. @OntPsychAssoc @ONPsych @crpontario Educate yourself. 😷

@ianhanomansing A lifetime CBC advocate, I had to stop watching your show & others on @CBC because of the preponderance of #urgencyofnormal views. The evidence is clear about C19’s multi-system, immune damage & efficacy of masks. Lives & livelihoods hang in the balance. PH has failed us all.

@FurnessColin @TOPublicHealth While elementary schools and daycares have the highest risk, I am not comfortable sending my high schooler to school either. Waning immunity. Lunchtime is a disaster, kids huddled over cell phones, masking problems. Lots of cases there, too. Close it all down and fix it.

Public Health: Given rise of Measles, wouldn’t it be prudent to advise the public on how to recognize & prevent it? Shouldn’t you do antibody surveillance? Those of us born in 60s & 70s are presumed to have immunity. What if we don't? @CPHO_Canada @TOPublicHealth @PublicHealthON

@inkblue01 Yes, we can do hard things. It's not the masking that's particularly hard (it's more of a nuisance); it's the dealing with people who don't understand the gravity of the situation, don't want to know, or don't care. Knowing that the govt has mass infected our kids; that's hard.

I am the only person in a cardiac clinic wearing a respirator. I am the youngest patient here. The only employee of about 10 (thankfully my tech) is wearing a mask. This is madness. This isn't healthcare. #CovidIsntOver Vascular SARS causes ❤️ damage. @OntariosDoctors @CMA_Docs

@jinxtea29 Same but what if I get sick because unmasked students & teachers give it to my kid? Because everyone has moved on my livelihood & well-being are in jeopardy? It’s highly contagious. Let’s see in a few weeks what happens.
