This is 19 year old Miley Doran from Carlow. Two years ago he spotted a small child and a mother drowning in the River Barrow. He shot to action and saved them both. Miley then went home, had a shower and didn't tell a single person about what happened. 1/2

Thousands line the streets of Smithfield this morning to pick up their €50 Dunnes Stores gift card from the Capuchin Day Centre. The majority of the 3000 vouchers have now been distributed. Manager Alan Bailey told me people have been queuing since 2am to get their gift card.

Argos is closing its stores across Ireland. Staff were informed this morning the majority of its stores will shut by the 24th of June. Others, including the Stephen Green’s branch, will close before then as it’s lease is up in March.

I presented the President Student Awards in UL in 2019. It involved meeting a bunch of students from different countries to get each pronunciation right and about 5 rehearsals to make sure we got the 448 names spot on. @UL take this stuff seriously and rightly so too.

UCD Vet Hosptial are looking for dog blood donors (yes you read that right). If your pup is under 8 years, with a calm temperament, healthy and under 25kg than he could be a perfect donor Dogs need blood transfusions just like humans and they also have blood types like us too🐾

I've just realised that the roads in College Court are all named after real colleges... Cambridge, Harvard, Stanford. I've lived there for two out four years of college and NEVER made this connection. Is this peak enlightenment? I feel like I'm seeing colours for the first time
