Baseball is a game of emotion. Sometimes they get the best of you. I have the most respect for my teammates and Vanderbilt. Sometimes the ball falls your way and sometimes it doesn’t. I love my guys and that’s all that matters. We’ll be back!
As I noted last night, baseball is a game of emotion. But that does not excuse my offensive language during an exchange at the end of a late inning. It was inappropriate and I apologize to all. I have the utmost respect for my teammates and Vanderbilt.
I’m very excited to announce that I will be beginning my coaching career at Parkland College. I’m looking forward to passing along all the advice that was given to me by all of my coaches and mentors in the past. Lets get the band back together

What a joke this is. College Baseball is as popular as its ever been because we’re getting to see the unique personalities of each team. But now, a bunch of guys that “maybe” played 40 years ago, get to decide how much fun the guys can have. Losers in charge of a beautiful sport.
The NCAA Baseball Rules Committee proposed some changes on Friday.
* No more celebratory props on the field in 2023
* Conferences/coaches can agree to put a runner on second base in extra innings
* Several action clock changes in-game
These guys welcomed me in like I was one of their own last year. Hard to believe we’ve suited up for the final time together. Louisville has a very special place in my heart. Brought me some of the greatest people I have in my life. To my seniors, love you boys. We aren’t done🤘🏼
to be considered a leader by the guys I am closest to is without a doubt the greatest feeling/honor I could hold. I love all my guys. 29 days away from the season of our lives 🧨
I started reading a new book today and came across this phrase:
“There is a reason the windshield is bigger than the rear view mirror. The future matters more than the past.”
Great things are ahead regardless of what happened in your past. Believe that.
NCAA has granted spring-sport athletes an extra year of eligibility in response to the coronavirus pandemic, but athletes from winter sports will not receive an extra year
this is like a pitcher striking out the side when their team is up 8-0 then apologizing for it bc it made the other team feel bad. feelings are important though!!! this is actually the dumbest thing i’ve ever heard. hit nukes and strike guys out. that’s exciting, that’s baseball
Fernando Tatis Jr. smacked a grand slam on a 3-0 count with a big lead, leading to criticism from both managers.
What do you think about this unwritten rule in baseball?

It’s things like this that just blow my mind. Bullies are an excellent example of what the weakest people in the world look like. Rayden has to be the toughest dude out there. You’ve got a bunch of buddies in Louisville pulling for you Big Chief🙏🏼 Stay tough‼️
everyone talks all the time about how the brand of College Baseball needs to grow. that was NC State this year. you have a team that has taken down every giant in College Baseball this year. literally the team the country was pulling for and you erase them on some bullshit. weak.
In church today I watched three 85 year old homies shake up in their automatic wheelchairs as they rolled past each other. The bond with your boys never fades away. Something small but still one of the cooler things I’ve witnessed haha
No better feeling! Jimmy P was the place to be this weekend! We’ve worked for this since July and lemme tell ya... THIS IS NOT HORRIBLE. SEE YOU IN OMAHA🔴⚫️🔴⚫️🔴⚫️
PK is CRUSHING this offseason.
@LouisvilleMBB
is all the way back.
The exact person/personality the city needed to bring back what has historically been a treasured program.
Can’t wait to watch the best bounce back season in College hoops next year🔥🔥🔥
A Louisville W always make it a good day.
But when that Louisville W happens to be a beat down of the blue school down the road, it’s cause for a celebration.
A fat GOOSE EGG next to their name just adds to my joy🔴⚪️⚫️
Not very often you get to witness a straight steal of home. 🐍🐍
Play the game FAST and you will be rewarded.

Want to give a HUGE shoutout to my awesome Momma for winning the Auxiliary Excellence of Nursing Award. If you know Sara Smith, you know the sweetest human being out planet has to offer. I’m extremely proud to be raised by such a beautiful person inside and out. Love you Momma!❤️
Dads: You play a direct role in shaping how your daughter sees herself, carries herself, performs in school, the relationships she builds. 90% of her self-esteem comes before age 12. By being present and involved in her life, you teach her she can be ANYTHING.
Be her hero.
Rest In Peace to a true HERO!! Did a lot of work at Jim Patterson for
@LouisvilleBSB
! Was always checking up on the players and became friends with a lot of our parents. The ballpark won’t be the same without you! Thank you for your service!!
This shit needs to stop.

Condolences are pouring in from across Louisville after a Jefferson Co. Sheriff’s Office deputy was shot & killed this morning.

Letting the wrong person just walk away. Vince came to Louisville and provided leadership to a place that desperately needed it. Will always be on his side but man it will hurt to see him leave.
It should be noted, Tyra has voluntarily reduced his own salary twice, has twice bypassed scheduled $150,000 bonuses due him, donated $100,000 of his own money for an ethics in business leadership program at the school and donated land for The Alley tailgate area to the school.
The best part of being an athlete at the University of Louisville was having the privilege of hearing this man speak The Word of God.
I hope every athlete takes away as much as I did in my time on campus.
You make the University a better place!
i’ve seen this 100 times and i still can’t get over the fact that this man didn’t even bother putting his gloves up. he knew he was dodging every one of those swings💀
