After just 14 months, we’ve paid out tens of millions to ~1000 creators. They’ve bought houses, paid off loans, and quit their day jobs because of Passes.
With this Series A, we’re building
Early tech career advice:
1. Intern or work 6-12 mo at a big name company (can be private)
2. Join a Seed-Series B startup. Email VCs asking for their top portfolio companies - they have insider knowledge.
3. Repeat (2) or start your own company.
I know someone who bought 2m fake followers then bought fake engagement (likes + comments) for her travel IG
Now she gets free 5 star hotels around the world.
She's been doing this for 3 years with no issues. Saved millions of dollars
Kind of brilliant, kind of fraudulent
'Gen Zs make the worst employees because they are overly privileged' - a teammate
I don't think this applies to everyone, but I will say the amount of people I know that will use mental wellness as an excuse for not working 25% of the time is quite high
A pregnant woman drove in the HOV lane alone in Texas and is arguing she can’t be ticketed because the Supreme Court overturned Roe v Wade… and now Texas law says that a fetus is a person 😂
Giving out equity in startups benefits ownership way more than employees. It allows the owners to push employees harder and harder because “you’ve got skin in the game now… you’re an owner.” No you aren’t. Owning less than 1% of anything isn’t ownership.
COVID has literally turned my liberal and moderate friends (who know how read data) republican… and I’m convinced a republican will win by a landslide next election
I just hired someone from a cold email that was ex Air Force and he’s been working in the office from 7 am (maybe earlier) to now and is still going…
I don’t play favorites but I have favorites
Had one of the best performing funds (thus far) on AngelList for vintage year 2019. Will continue angel investing because… 💰😁
However… I’m a founder again! Just raised over 4.5M to work in the web3 creator economy space.
Bored at your job? Let’s chat. 🚀
My parents have been pressuring me to have kids for the last 5 years. I love kids but wasn't ready then. I've been keeping this a secret but... I found a surrogate and I can't wait to welcome my child to the world 🥰
So weird to think that I'm only 28 and have lived a life most people can only dream about
From skydiving solo 30x to visiting 30 countries to building/funding generational companies to meeting presidents & the worlds best founders/CEOs...
Def dedicating my life to giving back.
Startups aren't for everyone. If you don't have enough energy and are worried about burnout, don't do it.
Some people are born more athletic. Some people are born more artistic. Some people are born with higher amounts of energy.
It's literally just not for everyone.
So today I learned that an Uber driver drugged me with water and assaulted me in a car… and took videos.
Be careful everyone. Even water is dangerous from strangers.
Your network is your net worth.
1. Raising money is easier
2. You can hire the smartest people for your company
3. You can start a fund
4. You can get allocations into hot startups & run non-stop SPVs
Fashion was one of the best investments I’ve made.
People are nicer to you, you get to skip lines, and walk into places without being stopped. 😬
The amount of dope people I’ve met because they liked my outfit is insane.
If the world is shallow, just play your cards right.
Some of y’all really don’t understand how startups work.
Yes, you are underpaid on salary. Yes, you will still make 6 figures (as an eng/designer). Yes, your equity package could be life changing.
I feel like most people would be willing to pay much more in taxes if they could choose exactly where every dollar went (ie education/food for kids in need)
Flight attendant: Is there a doctor on this flight?
Dad: *nudging me* that should've been you
Me: Not now Dad
Dad: Not asking for a VC to help, are they?
Me: Dad, there's a medical emergency happening right now
Dad: Go and see if “Let me know how I can be helpful" helps
This fight on IRL vs Remote is wild.
Yes, there are great companies that are remote. They are also much later stage.
Nothing beats in person early on.
👩🏻💻 We feed off each other’s energy, resulting in everyone working harder
💬 Instant communication
👯♀️ Team camaraderie
My friend has assigned me the job of telling her boyfriend that he needs to kill his 3 yr old startup with $0 in revenue and pivot
I'm not ready for the heartbreak
Soooooo I think my parents read my twitter account. Thanks mom and dad for immigrating to America so I can build a better future for the rest of our family 💕🌈
Why I genuinely love Miami: I don’t think I’ve had so many friends my entire life
They’re from all over the world and each incredibly unique and genuine.
Miami really is a melting pot of cultures 🥰
Off to Iceland ✈️ I still didn't find a date so I'm lowering my standards. If you can fly to Iceland today/tomorrow, shoot me a DM for a free 7 day trip 😁
I’ve been having nonstop dreams the last month about being an operator again and I think it’s been too long since I’ve gotten my hands dirty…
Have a few ideas I want to incubate - Will fund, provide workspace, and do the product design for those looking to start something 👀
Asian hate moment of the day: Random guy comes to my face and says “fuck you” then proceeds to do so to another group of Asians
This never happened in Miami
The pro of working at a large company for a while is that you’ll run into problems there aren’t software solutions for. If it’s a big enough problem (i.e extremely time consuming)… there’s your next startup.
I just FaceTimed my High School English teacher and I’m taking her to Europe as a thank you for being my second mom in high school.
It’s been a decade since I’ve seen her, should be fun 💃🏻
Be picky about who you hire in the beginning, because it only gets worse from there.
Want your employees to be A players? Make sure your first 10 employees are A+ players so their standards are high.
My Dad taught me that you get to choose your battles, and I am choosing the biggest one of my life.

The Thiel Fellowship was the best thing that ever happened to me.
You're the average of the 5 people you hang around the most and the Thiel Fellowship surrounds you with ambitious, smart people that are all a little crazy :)
Even I'm shocked with just how incredible everyone
Happy Father’s Day to all the immigrant parents out there that came to America with no friends, family, or money so their kids could have a better future.
Even though we don’t always see eye to eye, I owe you my entire life. Now it’s my turn to take care of you 🥰
Just heard about a Thiel Fellow that has raised TONS of money that doesn't understand that no is a no. Girls talk.
How tf did this guy get funded when he had sexual allegations in college and has done this to multiple girls
It gets personal for me when you do it to my friends
Everyone saying it’s possible to build a startup without long work hours… sure. It’s possible to become an Olympian if you’re incredibly genetically gifted.
But having the energy to work hard for long periods of times increases your chances.
Have an Olympian’s work ethic.
