Please listen to our record in sequence if you can. I know it’s a lot to ask these days, but we spent some time on the sequence. It’s always a huge part of the record process for us, and usually results with Sam and I disagreeing at some point. BUT he’s very good at sequencing. x

Here’s a story for the audio nerds: use a semi hollow body guitar. Close mic it. Don’t plug it into an amp. Get that tactile sound of the strings. Kinda sounds like that weird acoustic guitar you’ve always imagined sitting in a track but never got it right. Use @calculizer fano.

17 years ago today marks the day I started writing my very first song. A native New Yorker living away from home, sad, scared, moved, confused & inspired. Learned a few chords on guitar, sat down and wrote “A City Cries It’s Tears”. Not the best song, but the flame still burns.
