Just finished Game 5. Gary Payton II was a 27% 3fg shooter for his 5-year, 128-game G League career (2016-21). His defense has always been fantastic, but his development into a 39% corner 3 guy this year & having 2 3fgm games in a playoff series is testament to his work ethic.

I've seen a little bit of chatter about Podz's shooting numbers in Summer League. IDK for sure, but I'd imagine the coaches are 0% concerned that he's 31%fg and 27% 3fg right now. Many rookies historically have bad shooting SL numbers. Eg- Jordan Poole was 22% 3fg in '19.
