So #proud of my boy…. The effect of the dreaded puberty + lockdown means he has so much pain & discomfort in his legs etc…his legs & shoulders/spine have gone really tight & wonky making everything much harder & he can’t manage to stand up straight BUT he still has a go!!! 🥰

Final day of the @SuperheroTri #FindYourPower week & I’ve finished it off taking a few steps in my walker! So I’ve done 20km credit for being brave (blood tests), over a km on my trike & 5m walking, for #TeamRhiannon @rhiannonclem ..all for fun this time rather than fundraising!

The resilience of this young man never ceases to amaze me!!! Yesterday afternoon it was an ambulance ride to A&E with projectile 🤮 with blood & aspiration.... today he comes home from school like this ⬇️... in a very giddy mood! 🤷🏻‍♀️😂 #ProudMum

Someone must be feeling a bit better…first quality sleep in 3 days! He looks like a pin cushion from trying to site cannulas but bowels seem to have got going again-now its the slow process of building him back up to usual meals etc & Drs think this will become a regular thing😭

My #CerebralPalsyHero -he started off life in NICU after being born not breathing etc He doesn’t let CP define him & has surprised all the medics/professionals with what he’s achieved against the odds His disabilities are severe but they don’t hold him back! #worldcerebralpalsyday

I just love it when your kid utterly astounds the professionals!!! Just had a visit from @alexmac06 ’s physio & he was speechless when he saw the video of him taking a walk in his walker. So pleased with him after his leg & hand ops #NeverSayNever 😊😊

Whenever we go out as a family one of us always has to walk behind @alexmac06 to push his wheelchair so I can’t put into words how special it was today to be able to walk/pedal side by side down the prom as a proper family!! 😍 #ProudMum #NotEasyToTakeASelfieWhileWalking

Its hard to admit but I’m finding everything really hard at the mo… Having seen my boy so poorly & in pain/discomfort, fed up & bored while hes stuck at home + working to get him tolerating his normal amounts of feed etc.. all on a hefty lack of sleep, has finally broken me 😢😩
