Tomorrow evening, the City Council will be considering a resolution drafted initially by @KirkMcPike in response to the Supreme Court’s Dobbs v. Jackson decision. The resolution includes several specific actions the City will take to protect abortion access in Alexandria.

If THIS is the new normal, cities must adapt quickly. Property conversions, rewriting transit maps and funding, enhancing public spaces, new bike/ped amenities, more events, more housing & more! Alexandria must continue to be attractive for what we are, not what we are near.
