Poor Seattle. The most beautiful, wealthy, courteous city in America. It’s dying. It’s lawless. Total graffiti. Massive increase in shootings. Businesses closing from brazen shoplifting. Central city empty. Homeless tents of drug addicted line the streets.
Picture from a reader from Bakery Nouveau -- across the street from where Williams Place Park encampment has been partly cleared after outreach and clean-up
Never had more people read CHS on a single day than Saturday. Never had a story that was so important and so sad and so angry. Tried to do the victims and the truth justice while doing things in the style of CHS that has been shaped over years of neighborhood reporting
Two longest lines today: Free meal for everybody at All Pilgrims and the vegan Thanksgiving pickup line on 12th wrapping from Plum beyond the Ferrari dealership. Happy turkey day, Capitol Hill

Meanwhile, the liquor store at 12th and Pine texted and wants you to know they are open and bought a CHS ad. Seems like a rare opportunity to buy a bottle of hooch in the middle of a police zone. Tell them CHS sent you
