I just want to put this out there. In Game 7: Luke Shliger: 3-for-4, 3 R, 2B, HR, RBI, BB He did all of this, and caught, while being super sick. Kid couldn’t even get out of bed to eat lunch earlier in the day. That’s the grit and toughness that is here at Maryland.

In my opinion, I believe the #1 thing you can do to improve yourself as a baseball player is to develop a better base of strength and getting yourself to a strong weight. If you want to improve your movement, you gotta be able to have the strength to improve!

This has to stop… played with this in the minors, it’s miserable. Don’t even have time to shake off pitches and get the pitch you want. On top of that, it just gives you major anxiety on the mound. You have no ability to reset your mind after a couple of bad pitches.

With Juan Soto going to the Yankees, I hope the short porch doesn’t make him pull happy. We saw last year how he got a little pull happy in the middle of the year and was hitting a lot of weak ground balls. If he stays with his normal approach, he will be golden!

@nolanbrodah We needed to play better to not be in that position in the first place. Everyone knows that, but the toughness our team showed got robbed by an umpire who should’ve been covering a potential play at home plate, and had no right being near first base. That’s why it’s upsetting.
