@Ramy_Sawma
It’s funny how yesterday all vatniks were saying that US is about to launch a major war on Yemen and now they say that the US is withdrawing its warships. Try to decide
@runews
I know that thinking is hard for vatniks but 34 people out of 40 million doesn't mean nobody. There are 700k serving right now. Over a million russians have fled russia since the beginning of the war. Why don't you say anything about that vatnik?
1/8 Iran's reaction to Israel's recent strikes provides a perfect illustration of how authoritarian regimes exclusively comprehend the language of power.
1/13 Pragmatism has its limits, and Macron must come to terms with the fact that he cannot simultaneously support Ukraine and cultivate china as a partner.
@P_Kallioniemi
100%. Most Western leaders, including Stubb, have been appeasing china in the hope of preventing it from aligning with russia. This strategy has clearly failed. china has also recently been providing geospatial intel to aid russia in targeting Ukraine, which is a huge escalation
@NOELreports
I’ll only trust it when it happens. Johnson has been extremely good at constantly making it seem like he’s about to get it done. He’s done it for almost 6 months already. He doesn’t care about Ukraine
6/8 Netanyahu has repeatedly emphasized his commitment to preventing Iran from acquiring nuclear capabilities. Could it be that he deliberately provoked Iran's escalation in order to justify a corresponding response and dismantle Iran's nuclear program?
3/8 Israel's allies will likely attempt to exert pressure on Israel, urging a measured response or restraint in order to prevent further escalation. However, Israel is known for its resilience and independence, making it a challenging country to influence in such circumstances.
2/8 Last night's escalation was unprecedented, as it signified the first direct strike on Israel from Iranian territory. Israel's air defense systems performed admirably, averting potentially significant casualties. The world will be captivated by Israel's ensuing response.
4/8 Israel is acutely aware that the US is in a delicate position, with upcoming elections and widespread support for Israel among American elected officials and voters. Additionally, the US has a significant dependence on Israel in the ME, further complicating the dynamics.
5/8 This escalation likely unfolded according to Israel's strategic plan. Israel anticipated that its strike on the Iranian embassy would prompt a direct retaliation from Iran to save face. The real question is why Israel deliberately provoked Iran into retaliating.
7/8 Is he attempting to validate the upcoming offensive in Rafah, or perhaps endeavoring to legitimize a different undisclosed operation through these events? Could it be aimed at Hezbollah? Or is he just aiming to garner increased support for Israel?

Don’t take your wishes for realities :) Finns are not traitors and Finns understand the threat of russia well. NATO membership and support to Ukraine are still extremely popular among Finns
@yankees992020
@DorobanuGabrie1
the US infra needing to be repaired doesn't mean that russian infrastructure is good. lots of russians don't even have plumbing and indoor toilets
@squatsons
implying that russia isn't giving it all to succeed at an invasion that happens to be a massive failure so far would mean that the russian leadership are traitors. 350k+ casualties and not going all in? not very patriotic
Today is a tragic day for russia. The country's prospects of achieving its strategic objectives in Ukraine were already slim, and this decision has further diminished the likelihood of success.
@Alex_Oloyede2
Nicely made-up story but the minimum age for conscription is 27 and will be moved to 25 in Ukraine. russia doesn’t have a similar minimum age though :)
@johnnyjmils
No. The war in Ukraine is a russia-led war and you know it. russia started it and cannot reach its strategic aims so you try to turn the situation around
7/8 The strike by Israel also demonstrated its capability to target Iran without crossing into Iranian territory and without relying on long-range ballistic missiles.
@squatsons
You've been saying it's critical for Ukraine for 25 months and Ukraine is further from surrendering now than 25 months ago. Learn to think a bit
5/6 The global community, with a particular emphasis on Europeans, must abandon their naivety regarding china's intentions. Macron and other European leaders cannot assume that it is feasible to back Ukraine while maintaining partnerships with russia's primary supporter.
6/8 This marks a significant victory for Israel, demonstrating to Iran that its air defense can thwart Iranian strikes and also showcasing Israel's ability to carry out strikes in central Iran without global awareness.
2/8 Iran may have demonstrated how members of the new axis of evil and other aggressive authoritarian regimes only recognize power and yield when confronted with it.
5/8 Iran is behaving as though the strike did not occur, effectively disregarding it. This portrayal could be interpreted as a sign of Iran's vulnerability and apprehension.
@_JakubJanda
France hasn't sent enough but the Kiel Institute isn't right on their numbers because some countries don't announce the value of their aid and their methodology is based on announcements. France has given more than Canada in reality
4/8 Approximately a week later, Israel's retaliatory strike appears to have taken place last night. Details on the strike are limited at this time, but it is confirmed that Israel targeted central Iran. Both Israel and Iran have not provided extensive comments on the incident.
3/8 For years, Iran has utilized proxy forces to target Israel. Following Iran's strike just under a week ago, the Iranian regime has consistently emphasized that any Israeli retaliation against them would incur a substantial cost, with Iran promising an immediate response.
*15/14 russia's actions in Ukraine amount to genocide, as they aim to obliterate Ukrainian statehood, identity, and culture. Pressuring Ukraine to negotiate at this point is akin to surrendering to nazi Germany in 1942.
@MikaelValterss1
You’re just a low-level russian disinformation agent at this point. Did your handler tell you to say that? Even your dog is ashamed of you
@AlternatNews
Why hasn't russia been able to invade a single of Ukraine's 23 regional capital cities in the 25 months of full-scale war then? Asking for a friend :)

Moro Piotr. Sulla alko taas työvuoro. Hauskaa että toi sun propaganda kuvaa todella hyvin venäjää. Siellä ei rikkaiden lapset joudu sotimaan mutta köyhät joutuu
@squatsons
says the russian disinformation agent and traitor. i'd have loved to see your face in march 2022 if you had been shown a map of what the situation would be two years later. you would have cried
14/14 Kisin is just one of many intellectuals who fail to grasp that peace is not currently an option, as neither russia nor Ukraine desire it at this juncture. Pressuring Ukraine to negotiate at this time would effectively mean compelling them to surrender against their own will
2/14 This video illustrates a common scenario of a russian intellectual residing in the West, potentially with good intentions, but skillfully using mental gymnastics to align with russia's interests.
@Wezyr12
@ArturRehi
That is not really true. European military aid is higher than ever and there's a chance that major US aid might come this year at some point
9/14 He neglects to mention that russia has failed to capture any of the 23 regional capitals or special status cities in the 25 months of war, despite their full commitment and mobilization. This represents a significant failure at best.
@squatsons
And peskov’s comment implies that it became a war when the west started helping Ukraine. So it’s always been a war but russia has been arresting people calling it a war? Such a low-life country
@squatsons
Vatniks have been saying that Ukraine is on the brink of collapsing for 25 months. russia still hasn’t been able to capture even one regional capital city out of 23
5/14 Kisin starts the video by declaring his support for Ukraine before presenting his argument. Despite repeatedly emphasizing this stance, it does not change the fact that his argument leans towards a pro-russian position and ignores that there is currently no avenue for peace.
3/14 Summarized: I am a supporter of Ukraine, I have a deep affection for Ukraine, and trust me, I want what's best for them. I have been correct about everything so far, but given the stalled front and insufficient support from the West, we need to concede to Putin's demands.
4/14 He is essentially someone who opposes Putin and likely has good intentions, but proposes that, as a result of our failure to adequately support Ukraine in swiftly defeating russia, we should now surrender and allow Putin to have his way without consulting the Ukrainians.
6/14 Nowhere in his video does he contemplate or inquire about what Ukraine and Ukrainians desire. Additionally, he assumes as a given that russia would be prepared for negotiations.
2/6 According to research by AEI's
@MEaglen
, it is estimated that china's actual military spending amounts to $710.6 billion. This figure is three times larger than Beijing's self-reported totals and exceeds estimates from the US intelligence community by several billion dollars.
