I couldn’t believe at first, but this is what coach Maksvytis said after the game. “They wanted us to shoot that FT at the end of 4th. But Germans protested and referees got scared” Sounds crazy, right? But just look at the faces and body language of how this situation unfolded

I have many questions re new Euroleague website, but the one that I cannot understand the most is this: Why did they have to launch it NOW? I know it had to be launched back in Autumn, but if you are already late, why launch it like this? Not tested enough, not ready enough

This may be unpopular take, but this is my feeling throughout the tournament: Slovenia this year is not a fun team to watch. They were fun last year, and even more fun in 2017. And they just aren't this year. Too much iso ball, too much complaining

Great player, even better human being. Started my journalistic career the same season as Paulius his Euroleague's, saw his first game live. And now watched his last one while changing diapers of a newborn in a hospital 😀 Will never forget this one ❤️

So apparently refs during the game admitted that it was their mistake. FT should have been shot. How is that even possible? That's a simple rule. What kind of refs are these @FIBA @EuroBasket ?

WHAT WAS THAT @FIBA @EuroBasket ? Ref showed there was a technical, it is displayed here in play by play. BUT JV only shot 2 free throws. BUT it is displayed as if he missed 3. Never saw anything like that. What is that, new rules?

That should have been two foul shots, not three, as Fournier clearly fouled before the shot. I mean I'm not even mad at these refs anymore. I'm just so disappointed they are ruining what these great players are creating
