I just wanted to say that I really appreciate all of the people that have supported me well before tonight through the good calls and the bad. We did it, guys!
At some point you just have to give in and admit that you were wrong about Derrick Henry's ability to remain extremely efficient. So my early projection for him next season is:
480 carries
2,880 yards
30 TDs
3 receptions
The last year has been the most rewarding of my life (on every level). So Iโve decided that for the rest of 2020 Iโll donate 50% of anything I win at Live Finals to charity. The other 50% will be used to fund freerolls for NumberBall subs.
When you win a lot of money, everyone wants to give you advice on what to do with it. But here's my advice:
1) Quit your job ASAP
2) Spend $150k on new cars
3) Give your girl your credit card and tell her to buy whatever she wants
4) Sit courtside
5) Sit DFS nosebleed cash games
If I win the FanDuel WFBBC tomorrow I'll do weekly free content on Twitch for the 2019 MLB regular season. $300k to 1st and I have 5 of the 75 entries. Let's keep it rolling!
A tip for the lesser-knowns trying to make a name for themselves in content:
Just be sharp.
The path of trying to discredit others ahead of you isn't going to get you anywhere. You come off as jealous/insecure and you'll end up burning bridges you didn't even know were there.
DFS is about figuring out what you think will happen and comparing that to what everyone else thinks will happen, then deciding how to leverage the differences. Most people only understand it as projecting outcomes, and others don't understand how to gain leverage.

I've covered this on pods before, but wanted to make it extremely clear without any room for interpretation.
Here are my numbers from last year on FD/DK:
Overall Entry Fees: $1.06M
Overall Winnings: $2.6M
FD 1099: $1.23M
DK 1099: $306k
Sold action: -$299k
*My* Profit: $1.24M
Million dollar idea: a toggle that allows you to delay your text messages, Twitter feed, and fantasy scores by 30 seconds if you're streaming the game.
I've already got a bunch of seats for MLB and won't stop trying for more Live Finals all the way through football season. I think it's realistic that I can give back more than a million dollars before the year is over. More details will follow soon.

Got another seat to the FanDuel live final. Was bored and figured Iโd show the skeptics that I could win with a single bullet too. I think Iโm done with the screenshotting. Itโs easier to always just assume I made a bunch of money at the end of the night, so do that.
I hate putting stuff like this in front of the paywall, but these Fournette YPC takes are awful and I wish people would look at stuff that matters. This is a new stat called RBrt that combines Madden ratings, college power score, and a random number. Far more predictive. He's

I'm very proud of this one. A great year in DFS wouldn't have been nearly as rewarding if I couldn't help others along the way. It's always awesome meeting subscribers at live finals and seeing the six and seven figure screenshots on Twitter. I'll be back somewhere TBA for MLB!
If your take is โpeople shouldnโt feel bad for Durant because he has a lot of moneyโ, I think youโll find more happiness in life if you start measuring things differently.
Who was the worst pick in season long fantasy football this season that cannot be excused with "bad luck" in any way? Some candidates:
David Johnson
Le'Veon Bell
David Montgomery
Damien Williams
O.J. Howard
Brandin Cooks
Dante Pettis
Tevin Coleman
My vote goes to Bell of course
Some people thought that nobody would want AB after this mess and it took 5 hours for the smartest team in the NFL to make sure they were the ones to sign him...
Donโt be the guy that cheers a head injury to a player (who is unable to move) because you drafted Aaron Jones in your fantasy football league, please...
Using thousands of simulations to project the probability of each player landing in the winning Showdown lineups,
@JustinFreeman18
has been killing it with the data-driven content.
Where you can get it:
I get married in two weeks and my fiancee is a far better human than I am. Since my run of winning $2M+ that started a year ago, we've been trying to figure out different ways to help people. This is a small step in that, and we look forward to bigger announcements in the future.
What is the most underrated iconic sports card? Forget the dollar value and just think of a card that is super recognizable and cool. This one gets my vote. Probably not in the first 10-20 cards a new collector would think to go after, but just such a sick card.

tonight with another pitcher people say isnโt good... weird!
~$600 invested for almost $90k counting the seat equity. These were simply the top two stacks listed in my article and two of my favorite tourney pitchers. Let me help you.
I'm kinda tired of selling stuff, so how about we give something away for free this time? If you have any subscription on to any sport, we're gonna give you MLB Playoff content for free.
(no action required on your end, it'll show up when released)
Potts is one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet in the fantasy sports industry so it's no surprise that his wife is out there trying to help people. I'm happy to contribute in a small way with half of the money from my min-cashes (sorry!) in the DK FFWC!
While Iโm goofing around with baseball stats, my wife Lara is out making the world a better place. I want to introduce you to her and Redeeming Grace, a non-profit transitional program to support women coming out of correctional facilities or rehab.
@grace_redeeming
I've had some cool stuff happen over the last year that I never really expected, but getting trade proposals from
@MatthewBerryTMR
has gotta be at the top of the list. I think I accepted the 1st offer he sent me just to โ๏ธ "Trade with Matthew Berry" off my fantasy FB bucket list.
Wrote an NFL article that most of you won't take the time to read, but the people that do will have a big edge in Week Two (and beyond). It'll be up in the afternoon.
Here is the perfect example of how contest selection can impact your ROI. Same exact lineups entered in both. $10 entry in each. Top contest had 11.7k entries, the bottom contest had 188.2k entries.
When youโre the only one that knows that Dylan Covey doesnโt suck... shout out to the
@GuruEliteDFS
gambling chat that heard me out on Covey via the under bet. They made some cash with me too...

style, I need to go out with a screenshot. I won the Slam again last night and another WFBBC seat. A nice little six figure payout to show you 2018 wasnโt a fluke. 19 lineups. โ๐ฝ
If you want to be encouraged that there are still plenty of fish playing MLB DFS, check out the number of BvP mentions sure to come on Opening Day. It's gonna be another good year, friends.
Girl: why are you in Key West?
Me: hard to explain, but I'm here for a fantasy sports tournament
Girl: no I get it, but Key West seems like a weird choice to play video games
Hot take: You shouldnโt need to see a 1099 from the person youโre taking advice from to know whether itโs good info or not. In fact, many โwinnersโ arenโt good at teaching, and many โlosersโ are. Trust the guy that benefits the least if everyone felt this way. Sorry Samson.
News report that I just heard was that Newman is awake and alert, which is more information that I've seen on Twitter. Just local news here saying that they got that information from his teammates.
Multiple 6 figure 1099s since Iโve started playing and even a 7 figure 1099 last year and there are still a couple people that want to plant their flags on me somehow losing money long term... ๐
Even had to SEND a six figure 1099 to a guy who invested in all my โ18 live finals.
I'm thinking about writing up a guide on The Masters free for my MLB subscribers, but I don't know how many of you guys plan on playing the PGA contests. I figure since we've got well over 1k subscribers that if we get 200+ that retweet this I'll do it.
I'm very excited to be able to build a site tailored to what I think content should be in the industry. There will be more to announce later but below is a quick look at what I'll be doing. I'll be on the site 5-7 days per week doing things you're familiar with + some new stuff.
An idea of what to expect from us this baseball season:
Daily Rundown Articles breaking down DraftKings and FanDuel MLB main slates
Daily Podcasts and/or Live Shows
Ownership Projections
Weekly Strategy Articles or Pods
Monthly Workshops taking you through an entire process

RB PPR scoring since the Kenyan Drake trade:
1. McCaffrey
2. Henry
3. Drake
4. Elliott
5. Barkley
(Michael Thomas is the only WR that has outscored Drake)
Can you imagine if the NBA season gets canceled? The Warriors will finish with the worst record, probably land the
#1
pick, yet still be able to go for a sixth straight Finals appearance next season.
