Without water you can not have properly moisturized hair. OIL AND WATER DONT MIX, If you weren’t using a clarifying shampoo after using an oil, how are you properly moisturizing your hair? Because it’s coated in a layer of oil, it’s never going to get moisture

Some important hair reminders. Fully saturate your hair with water before you shampoo, shampoo twice, stop using boiling hot water on your hair/skin in the shower, always detangle with conditioner on and a proper brush, (NO i don’t believe in wide tooth comes)

I saw someone ask about what to do because their hair is so dry, and someone suggested they just put oil on it. this is not the answer, oil does not hydrate or moisturizer it repels water & will actually make your hair more dry in the long run. It’ll be shiny but dry as hell

So what I’ve noticed is we are not actually shampooing and conditioning properly.... you’re not shampooing twice every time you wash and we are not marrying the water with our conditioner in our hair enough. Just combing it and letting it sit for 5 min is NOT enough
