If SMC is truly genuine in canceling PAREX, they should revoke their agreements with TRB & DENR & withdraw their permit applications with LGUs as well as other expressway plans. We also urge LGUs to reject these permits & instead work towards a sustainable vision for Pasig River.

Science is clear, but the govt letting these things happen. In 2050, some parts of Manila will be submerged due to sea-lvl rise, but they still build a new district in the waters of Manila Bay. SMC wants to build PAREX on top of the Pasig River to connect it to other expressways.

Went on a bike ride yesterday & I will say it again that the Marikina riverside has a lot of potential. Right now, it's just a big parking lot and catch basin whenever water overflows. IDK what stopping Marikina LGU to fix it & making things happen to like how Iloilo River is.
