There were several times when Kim Jong Un disappeared from the public eye. But Wednesday’s no-show should be interpreted more carefully IMO bc 1) the bday of DPRK Founder has a very particular meaning attached to it and 2) KJU never missed the Kumsusan visit celebrating this.

My late grandmother survived a random “red hunt” in her town — in which people were “executed” without any clear reason or proof — during the Korean War. She had a South Korean soldier’s love letter for her in her pocket, which proved her innocence, “not being a communist.”
