Well this woman (my mum) since retiring she volunteers at a refugee centre to help new families settle, has taken up floristry & now has a Grade 6 in Maths GCSE that is the same grade my daughter got today too. True empathic twinning. She is a bloody legend and true inspiration.

Increase reading attainment- pupils more likely to reach expected standard if they watched TV with subtitles. Subtitles on TV “dramatically improves” children’s reading. Make it the default setting. #Subtitles #Reading #edutwitter #Primaryrocks 📺 📖

Daughter moved from a leafy suburban school to a different school. Tracked for A* ...did an extra year as diff. A’level exam boards. Hit by two grade downgrade derailment. QMUL gave her a place to read biochemistry. One of the lucky ones. #AlevelResults #alevels2020
