These biblical drawings of yours are really some of my favourites. I love how tender and sweet this moment is. I'd love to see you capture more biblical moments like this <3
I'm sorry if this doesn't blow your mind like it did mine, but I have to share this:
we have a photo of the Duke of Wellington.
THE guy. Born in 1769. Defeated Napoleon at Waterloo. I've only seen him in paintings. Idk I find this SO cool??
A stone carved Buddhist relief from Gandhara (northwest Pakistan/southwest Afghanistan), second-third centuries AD. Note the presence of Heracles-Vajrapani on the Buddha’s right.

You gave such a brilliant performance as Kuro! You had such menace and sophistication, it was really magnetic.
You should really be proud of yourself :)
Who are some underrated ancient Greek or Roman historical figures?
men or women, soldier or civilian, who just didn't get the appreciation they deserve

I never though I’d love Robert Pattinson this much.
He could’ve just coasted off his celebrity and played himself, but he gives a shit. He’s actually *ACTING*.
So I've known about this for a while (I have my ways) and at this point Im just here to witness the sandstorm.
Also somebody please make a sculpture of the guy in proper attire. Somebody PLEASE
It amazes me that some people genuinely hate joy.
“Do you have permission for this soothing melody? You’re inviting donations, that’s begging!”
Oh go fucking implode, you human migraine

Therefore, as a fascinating fusion of cultures, the Indo-Greeks began to depict Vajrapani (the Buddha's protector) as Heracles, the hero from Greek Mythology. Examples of the Buddha and Heracles below:
IF you're a HUGE Eldar fan. A loremaster, if you will.
I'd love some help with this future project: Portraits of the Phoenix Lords in the same style as my Primarchs.
Shoot me a DM :)

I posted about this recently but I wanna be more thorough.
Here's (IMO) some good physical references for Space Marine bodies. Feel free to use this as an artistic tool if you'd like.

What are you guys thinking?
Design suggestions? ideas to make them unique or give them more cultural flair?
(Art is by
@SorenSik
, PLEASE check him out, he's super underrated)
Okay Austin Butler is brilliant in Masters of the Air.
He's got that James Dean swagger; an authentic leading man straight out of classic Hollywood. For god's sake, his name's Gale "Buck" Cleven, the man oozes cool.
Great first episode.
How do you see the aesthetic of Dune? Brutalist like VIlleneuve's films or more historical?
Which real world cultures and time periods too👀
(Art by
@AsparuhovN
and Keith Christensen)
Dune's murky brutalist aesthetic is nothing like I've ever seen in sci-fi. Each faction has their own identity despite the tiny range of colours; I can't get enough
Ello, ello
