The only people or relatives I know that have been able to leave Gaza are dual nationals or family members of foreign nationals whose governments coordinated their exit from Gaza. So no, not everyone can just 'leave' this death zone if they wanted to.

These were all our cousins. We grew up together. Today was meant to be Toqa Alfarra's wedding. She, too, was killed along with her sisters & parents. This was the most horrific night for everyone in Khan Younis. All my family members sent their goodbyes last night. No sleep.

#Gaza is right on the coast. Humidity levels rise up to 85% especially at night. When you're in tents or out on the streets without shelter or any source of warmth, and it rains, 15-16 degrees feels freezing, especially for the most vulnerable, the children, the sick & elderly.
