BREAKING: Sacramento Kings star big man Domantas Sabonis spotted on SLAM magazine posing with deadly weapon. Just a disgusting act from a once respected publication.
Raider fans who didn't grow up in NorCal or the Bay will never understand the hatred of Raiders and Niners.
We encounter Niner bandwagon fans everywhere, it's in our families, it's in our businesses, it's on the streets, on cars, at the shop, in the mall.
They don't get it.
NBA coaches with years of experience learning from twitter user nbafan4737152 that all you have to do is force Domantas Sabonis to use his right hand to stop him
The top 4 teams in the Western conference (Nuggets, Grizzlies, Kings, Suns) not being major market teams is the best thing to happen to the NBA in a very, very long time.
Scott Henderson when asked some players he looks up to and who heโd like to play with:
โGuys like DeโAaron Fox, Domantas Sabonis, Keegan Murray. All guys that I have looked up forever to and modeled my game after:โ
๐
Friendly reminder that Ja Morant has a hefty Nike sponsorship that even gave him his own signature shoe deal and that DeโAaron Fox was dropped by Nike in 2022.
In a division with Steph Curry, Lebron James, Anthony Davis, Kawhi Leonard, Paul George, Devin Booker, and Kevin Durantโฆ
It is De'Aaron Fox and Domantas Sabonis who are on top and about to win the division title.
Not one single soul knew the Kings were negotiating a deal for Chris Duarte. Words canโt describe how relieving it is to have a front office that doesnโt constantly have everything they do leaked to the public.
Kings fans trashing Keegan Murray for going through a bad slump whilst battling that back injury and those personal issues are the absolute worst kind of fans and I do not want to be associated with them.
Records after the trade deadline:
Clippers 9-10
Suns 13-7
Mavs 9-17
Wolves 9-10
Mavs 7-13
KINGS 16-7
Remember when some Kings fans freaked out after the Kings decided to stay out at the deadline?
This is everything the NBA on TNT crew is going to do in regards to the Kings tonight:
- mispronounce the names of 70% of the roster
- call Sabonis โscore firstโ
- say the Kings are an early playoff exit
- argue with Charles Barkley for being high on the Kings
Iโm going to say something that some Kings fans wonโt want to hear:
The Kings wonโt go far with Sabonis as the 2nd scoring option. Heโs an elite hub, but average scorer. They desperately need to find a real 3 level threat next to Fox next season or their future is in trouble.
If the NBA actually wants to minimize players resting, then they should require a threshold for games/minutes played to make the All Star Game and All NBA teams.
I love Tyrese Haliburton and fully understand that he is going to be a better player than Sabonis (he probably is already), but thereโs nothing on this earth that will convince me that heโs better than DeโAaron Fox
My re-draft of the 2022 NBA draft:
1. Keegan Murray
2. Keegan Murray in a home jersey
3. Keegan Murray in an away jersey
4. Paolo Banchero
5. Smiling Keegan Murray
6. Kris Murray disguised as Keegan Murray
7. Chet Holmgren
8. Keegan Murray
9. Shaedon Sharpe
First itโs โthe Kings lost the Haliburton tradeโ then its โthe Kings traded the wrong PGโ but all I see is two All NBA players on the Sacramento Kings and zero on the Indiana Pacers, respectfully ๐คท๐ฝโโ๏ธ
Prime Demarcus Cousins was so much better than people think bc a lot of folks donโt understand just how bad those Kings rosters were when he was in Sacramento
The Cavs traded Markkanen and essentially FOUR 1st rd picks for Donovan Mitchell. Meanwhile the Kings didnโt trade a single asset outside of Haliburton for Sabonis yet itโs like they traded their entire future for him the way people view it.
With DeโAaron Fox taking that superstar leap this season and Domantas Sabonis being perennial all star, whoโs to say the Kings canโt entice a 3rd star player to come join them in the future? ๐คท๐ฝโโ๏ธ
Instead of looking at the Kings season as a failure, letโs look at the good things instead:
- improved DEFrtg from 24th to 16th (!!!)
- Keegan Murrayโs unlocked two way potential
- found their starting SG of the future (Keon Ellis)
- DeโAaron Foxโs 3pt shot improvement
John Hollinger with a backhanded complimented for Mike Brown. Saying he โbenefited hugely from the phenomenal health of his rosterโ instead of saying that he maximized the Kings roster is nasty work
Okay hear me out now Kings fans:
My dream is for the Kings to draft Kris Murray and start both him and Keegan together so that it will be impossible for teams to game plan against bc Kris shoots lefty and Keegan shoots righty and they wonโt know whoโs who.
Chess not checkers.
What kills me most about how the national media views Keegan Murray is that they act like he has absolutely zero upside and ceiling.
Keegan is only 22 years old and is already a top 10 shooter in the NBA. Heโs also shown flashes of elite two-way play. STOP THE DISRESPECT.
I know a lot of Kings fans hate optimism, but the Kings can still get the 6th seed if they handle business against the Suns and Pelicans next week ๐คท๐ฝโโ๏ธ
*Keegan Murray being a rookie and major contributor on a top 10 team in the NBA and smashes the rookie 3 point record*
National Media: but is he good tho
Keegan Murrayโs last 4 playoff games:
14.5 ppg and 8 rpg on 51% FG 46% 3PT
The Kings championship ceiling is contingent on his development and Iโm fully confident he will reach an all star level sooner than later.
The Sacramento trade has potential to have a Chris Webber impact on a struggling franchise. Kings fans finally have reason to celebrate about something creative and positive. While losing Haliburton stings, you have to give something to get something. Sabonis is an proven star.
Monte McNair is responsible for quite possibly two of the greatest trades in Sacramento Kings history and there are Kings fans that still havenโt given him credit
We went from โyou guys havenโt made the playoffs in 16 yearsโ to โyou guys are a first round exit anywaysโ
The Sacramento Kings are officially BACK yโall ๐๐ฝ
