I always try to repeat this! If you need to learn Maya for a job the student license works for Udemy courses! you can buy a $9 Udemy course and get the license for a year :3 its not the best and not like it was before but its something!!

Over the weekend and all of today, I have been following the Zurbrigg tutorials for the auto ball rigging course and it has been such a delight! I finished today and I learned so much :))) gotta get better at QT though so I used the base code he provided for us to use.

for clarity the project im doing is a limb autorigger that has twist joints, elbow pinning, stretch, soft ik, nudge, sliding and volume pres at one point i knew how it works but now i dont LOL

had to fix the shoulder pivot. it's amazing how much a short scooch down can make. Good news tho, my arm script works decently when trying to replace or redo parts of a rig! gotta finish and show you guys :D

Sorry for the delay in responses and absence overall online guys. About a little over a month ago we lost my grandma. It was pretty sudden so I still can't wrap my head around it. It's all been a lot lately but I am trying my best!

This! Once Autodesk changed their student license options it just made it even less accessible to newer artists. All the 3D programs cost a lot for someone in college or fresh out of college so it’s nice to have something free like Blender

No matter how you feel about Blender, one thing I love is that it produces a whole new world of artists who otherwise wouldn't have access to a 3D software

I always try to repeat this! If you need to learn Maya for a job the student license works for Udemy courses! you can buy a $9 Udemy course and get the license for a year :3 its not the best and not like it was before but its something!!
