SH2 Remake should've gone the opposite direction with its combat imo. If you're going to go RE direction, you're going to be compared. I have a feeling SH2 Remake will end up being a poor man's RE2, not as intense and satisfying, but just action-y enough that it loses the horror.

Balance tweaks, the biggest change goes to Black Smog. It'll work very differently in the coming update. Otherwise I tried to address most op strategies some way. No direct nerfs but leechmonger ring, glass shards, dot damage, hardened heart, meat grinder got some limitations.

@katykat_98 I don't blame people. His complexion is light (tbh everyone is pretty pale in f&h art) but in the lore Eastern Sanctuaries used to be huge. Like it swallowed half of Eurasia at some point in time. So in my mind it makes sense for its citizens to be pretty diverse in their looks.

@Confusion_est He's inspired by this drawing in Grand Grimoire. It's just one portrayal of Lucifer/Devil. Similar depictions can be found from other occult books as well. "Perkele" is also associated to devil sometimes in Finnish language too. Per'kele is all that mixed with jester-like vibes.

Basically you summon black smog now and the smog independently blinds opponents on its own turns. If you abuse the smog too much, rely on it too much, it'll turn on you and starts attacking you too.
