Today was the last day of my Urogynecology observership at Houston Methodist. Grateful to the attendings and fellows for their warm welcome. Special thanks to my mentor Dr.

Got mine at 28 yo & married. Glad to got it when it was finally covered by insurance cuz I was older for the cutoff age at that time. Although is is kinda painful the shot, no regrets! I keep promoting HPV vaccine when I can!
@jfitzgeraldMD
Excelent presentation Dr. Fitzgerald 👏🏻. Also, thanks for answering my question about the bladder instillations as a treatment for IC. I look forward to attending more presentations!

@mburgosmd
Monica, I really wish you the best! I hope you problem gets a solution soon! I’ve been waiting for my schedule permit since May, so I completely understand your frustration. Let’s hope for the best. You will get it. 🤞🏻

@rubelizbolivar
Bibi, no te desanimes! Trata de dar otro test en 2 semanas y vas a ver que te va ir mejor! Aunque el camino sea duro, el duro se queda en el camino! Ánimos, tú puedes! 🤍

This case is really interesting. I saw that was a case from Brazil. I am from Ecuador ( also South America), and patients with POP usually do not seek treatment until it is really bothersome or complicated w/ another pathology.
@ZJAyres
2017, first time in US. I barely spoke the language and I was lost at the airport ( Houston). A gentleman saw the panic in my face. He let me stay at the United club until my next flight so I can eat and rest a little bit. I paid it forward on 2019 with the same act of kindness
@medgradwishlist
Thanks for your support!

Currently in Austin, TX feels like 39C ( I am from a city where the max is 34C ) … I prefer the cold! … reason with I flew back home July/ August. Here was like 40-41C 🥲
@vaneordonez18
Mi querida Vane, sé que a donde sea que vayas y cada meta que logres, tu Papi está contigo y te celebra desde el cielo! 🩵 Te envío un abrazo enorme!
@mburgosmd
Jejeje! Next time I wanna take a road trip for sure I will go to San Antonio and send you a DM so we can talk a little more about it 😅( Team ❄️☃️)
@EveeLpz
Plus Tylenol for the chills/ headache and a box of tissues 🤧. I was triple vaccinated and it felt like a bad cold. I wish you the best & get better soon! 🙂😊
@AbdullaEntessar
I ordered once a dinning table set from IKEA ( of course in the middle of the pandemia because we just moved) and it took 8-10 weeks to arrive after the day I placed the order and after that time, I got a phone call to wait another 2 weeks 🤡
@DrCristinaF
Same here! + it is not my fault to have an accent. English is not my first language. Ppl that pretend they don’t understand what I said although it was perfectly clear. Btw when they ask from where I am, I am proud to say, I am from South America
@reyesallan
This is not only sad but also frustrating. It is hard to understand why people still act in that way. That is the reason why sometimes I do not wanna go outside alone for a solo trips because you never know what you will find. I hope this doesn’t happen again to them.
Attended a surgical workshop hosted by TAMU AWS yesterday and realized my skills are rusty (time to practice!). It was also a great opportunity to interact with MS3s and IMGs interested in surgery and learn from their knot technique tips. I saw some outstanding future surgeons!
@AshleyGWinter
8/23 turning 30 🤷🏻♀️. I just remember that When I turned 25 I was at my 24h shift with pain due to a kidney stone 🥲… otherwise, no crappy parties growing up. ( in my county vacay is from Feb-April) 🥳

@Talk2MeDoc
I used to do 24h shift every 3 days ... That really drains nor only your soul, also your health... but it was worthy. I learnt a lot in those 2 years.. if I will do it again...Maybe ?
@MDoftinyhumans
@Telemundo
Bien Gabby! Look how proud are your parents ! But most important, how proud are you to have such supportive parents! Today you are the first, but you will not be the last!
@GeostatsGuy
Thanks Dr. Pyrcz
@GeostatsGuy
for being his guidance, mentor and friend during these years! I am excited to see what the future will bring to him! 🎉

I work at an OBGyn practice. We have providers specialized in complex contraception. Most of the time deep implant removal can be achieved in the treatment room w/ US guidance. OR cases completed by OBGYN providers can due to several factors ( unable to remove/need of sedation)
