At the risk of imprisonment, traveller Felipe Beleza made this simple protest outside the Potala Palace in Lhasa.
Tibetans who protest against China's occupation face lengthy prison sentences. Even flying the Tibetan flag or keeping a picture of the Dalai Lama risks punishment.

Today marks the 34th anniversary of the Tiananmen Square Massacre.
The Chinese government's attacks on freedom of expression have continued in the years since, with Tibet recently ranked the least free country in the world.
But the fight for freedom will never cease.
We stand in unwavering solidarity with Miss Tibet Tenzin Paldon, who boldly refused to back down from the CCP’s transnational repression 👏🏽

Taken by Chinese authorities at 6 years of age, the Panchen Lama has not been seen for 26 years.
