Picked up a piece of Guitar Hero history today. A prototype ‘Death Magnetic Vee’ controller design originally slated for GH:Metallica’s release but never came to fruition. As far as I’m aware it’s the only one of its existence. Gonna do a Live go through/QA later on :)

#factsaber Did anyone notice the forced poses in origins expert+ in @BeatSaber ? A 'cross through the heart'. One which puts your hands to your head. One which uses the whole body to move. A 'praise' pose These are used every time their word comes up, even during fast lyrics.

Another @BeatSaber fun fact! This may be obvious to PC players, but did you know that all the lights, shape twirls, lasers, etc are all handcrafted for each individual song? Most think its all just automated in game. Nope! Lighting and the blocks you hit all have love put in!

BeatSaber Tip! : All the levels are made in a way to train you for their harder difficulties. If there's a pattern you're finding tough, drop down a difficulty to find an easier version of that same pattern in the same spot that'll strengthen your slashing skills! @BeatSaber

One feature of @BeatSaber multiplayer that I wanted to make sure was included is that your song attempts are all leaderboard-compatible. You don’t have to quit out to solo mode to compete on the leaderboards, you can do that with friends and even randoms! :) modifiers work too!

#factsaber Did anyone spot during the drop for 'Magic', that the lights bend in shape and direction (on both axis) to match the shapes of the arcs? This was an early WIP of the effect. I modified the lighting across all 5 difficulties for the different arcs.

There's a 6 & 7 minute song in this pack! Pump that stamina up! Also for the editor folk - a new group event called FX, allowing custom unity parameter control. For this environment, it was used to control externally-built animations for the crystal-shatter effects :) Enjoy!

@BeatSaber little tip! At the start of a song, look at your combo and you'll see some white lines as is shown. This signifies you’ve not missed a note so far. Try keep the lines there until the very end and get that full combo! Great little visual for spectators too! :)

With the new @BeatSaber editor release, there is planned documentation to explain a bit of the complexities. For now, we at least have a control scheme document detailing what each hotkey is and small explanations and visual aids for all the schemes, which i'm adding here.

21 months later… Finally made it! I do enjoy a good speed run but this was a horrible attempt. Here’s hoping I can do better next time, maybe the walk% would have been quicker or perhaps I can find a skip for the hotel chapter. :D I’m SO EXCITED.

Still waiting on the day Beat Games figures out how to make arcs work in 360°, and they release more of these awesome maps. I'm still a hard believer that 90°/360° mode was the best thing they've added to the game, but it's just lacking support.

Some of you are asking if rotating levels are coming to PS VR. Yes! We're bringing special 90° Levels as part of the next PS VR update! With 28 lanes of notes coming at you, it's a blast to play! Other platforms will have both 360° and 90° Levels available.

Fun Fact! - My Original Rhythm Game love came from Guitar Hero. I use to compete back in the day and was even sponsored by Activision for a short while , travelling across Australia. Havn't played for a solid 18 months, but thinking I might do a stream tonight. 🙂

Somewhat Fun fact. My idea for Rattlesnake 360 in @BeatSaber was supposed to be themed about long lines of bombs that twist and turn. Ala 'rattlesnakes'. Didn't make the cut for several reasons. But maybe someday i'll feud it back in. 2 were left remaining in the intro :)

#factsaber - 'Reason for living' by @morganpage from the @BeatSaber OST3 is the first song i've personally had that's more on the slower/dancy side. So it's therefore the first level i've made that was intended more for a slow-flow kinda dance. How'd I do? Did you feel the dance?
