@mhinic_ @JacdecNew Shocking and seems to be common. Pax putting materials over lives. Airbus and Boeing need to create a new safety system. All overhead stowage compartments should be locked from pushback to 10 thousand feet when the seat belt sign is turned off and locked again at top of descent.
