Look like we may have to go to Court to ensure Jan/Feb 21 attempt doesn't merge into May 21. Main reason is no clarity & when Institute say after 3 papers also students need to give all papers then it create doubts & we will add points in case of safety lapse in Nov 20 exam..

Why I said students shd wait to opt out until 19th November or commencement of exam i.e. 21st Nov? Opt out is available until last day of exam.. Secondly, ICAI shd issue FAQ to resolve doubts related to "Opt Out". It is question of student's career & blind decision is dangerous.

ICAI will not be able to conduct exams if 100% students show attendance. It is also true that 100% students will not be able to appear. Best alternative is let those give exam in Nov 20 who can, other Jan 21 & don't worry Jan 21 only. ICAI obviously responsible for all safety.

It is really surprising tht students themselves r going wrong. I explained this in video also last month. Students demands postponement which no one is going to agree. There r so many issues. Preparation not upto mark, no clarity on opt out, safety, Jan attempt etc. (1 of 2)

With hospital beds filling up, any super-spreading from the exams will lead to heightened infection spread that we can ill-afford. If postponement is completely unviable, it goes without saying @theicai must put in place only the strictest protocols to keep examinees COVID safe.

Students & members, plz write a letter or postcard to Govt. of India that ICAI audit should be done by CAG. A CA who is member of ICAI, should not do audit. And this audit should be done for last 10 years so CAG can independently vouch decisions. I am anyway working on this.
