I step outside, the cold air smacks my face, the sun fills my eyes and for a moment, only those two thoughts fill my mind, it’s peaceful. I understand why the old lady sits on the porch and knowingly stares into the clouds. Appreciating the now takes a lifetime of practice.

Son has baseball 149 miles away-he was planning on driving himself. I was supposed to work & finalize grad party. BUT I woke in the middle of the night,read about a car ax,panicked about long drive,heat, 2 games & called in personal day to work. Now I’m driving 149 miles. Crazy?

My boy at bat in the same spot so many greats once stood. A group of volunteers took care of old Tigers stadium until @DetroitPAL turned it into “The Corner Ballpark”. It’s awesome.
