Just arrived back in Glasgow tonight from overseas. Airport to city centre bus drops me at Queen Street station. First thing I see in George Square - not new - is a huge queue of people for food bank provision. Dear God we must work to change this abomination around.

We have at least 18 police support vans on street below , countless breaches of peace never mind Covid restrictions and not once have I seen the police as much as stop anyone. Instead they seem preoccupied giving high fives or elbow greetings. Utterly baffling

Nightmare Xmas after wife displayed symptoms corresponding with pancreatic cancer. Wonderful @NHS_HS staff quickly got to the root of problem a temporary blockage of the bile duct by a gallstone. She’ll need gall bladder removal but that pales alongside what could have been.👏NHS

Long time since I felt this upbeat politically, and I do mean that.Scotland now face on with most toxic and inept of Tory PM’s who frankly would prefer we were all equivalent of feudal serfs. I’m glad time has come to prove him wrong. Let’s get on with doing just that Scotland.
