Yesterday we learnt the news of the passing of Phil Kingsley Jones. Phil is the dad of Kingsley who represented our club at youth level. He was a well respected figure not only in the gwent valleys but in his adopted country New Zealand.

5 years ago today we won down at Croesyceiliog with a bonus point to secure our position in Div 2 east. At Christmas the club was at minus points and on the verge of going through. 11 wins out of 12 secured our survival and the rest is history.
