Another antivaxx had to be transferred to sungai buloh last night, still very young. Serial chest x ray looks really bad, was being difficult and not compliant to our management, gave my housemen a hard time the day before. Refusing oxygen. Poor insight despite counseling. 🤦🏻‍♂️

Doctors are a weird bunch of people kan, work inhumane hours, put themselves in danger, some die from road traffic accidents from microsleep, tapi wont go on strike / stand up because there wont be anyone to take care of their patients yang sometimes dont even apprecite them 🤷🏻‍♂️

i think people in malaysia dont take their diabetes as serious as they should. it is a terrifying disease. you will die. not as sudden or dramatic as a heart attack, but you will still die, a slow and depressing death. not to mention expensive.

Delivered my last baby for 2019, 3.1Kg baby girl, and it was a successful vaginal birth after caesarean. Satisfied with how this year turned out, there were good times and tough times, but overall very humbling and Im glad to say that I learned a lot. Thank You, till next year 🙋🏻‍♂️

Being the doctor oncall is an immense responsibility to shoulder, but we are human, and human has limits, we sometimes make mistakes. There are measures to reduce these mistakes, but when they do happen there is no use in pointing finggers. Learn and move on.

Dato Musa has been practising since the 80s, tak pernah nampak a case of diphtheria. early 2000s, I first heard of anti-vaccine movement in malaysia 2016 - in my 4th year of medicine, ada 1 case of diphtheria at Taiping Hospital. something yang patutnya tiada lagi, ada balik.

My encounter with ED nurses (some, not all) has lead me to suspect that they may have BRAF mutation, (Become Rude As Possible). Then I found out that they have been working short staffed, double shifts, no leaves, children at home/taska no one to take care. Salute to all nurses🙋🏻‍♂️
