Yes, Yes, Yes.....No. great example. The problem is in BP most are 95% sure they will swing before the ball is even thrown. Game? Most will say they are only 40-60% sure. The disconnection between a BP mindset and a game mindset is often what holds young hitters back.

In BP - practice the “wait” time. On this pitch JD waits for 8 seconds. In BP hitters rarely wait. Practice the dance. BP pitchers should be bad dance partners on purpose. Hitters should train to be a good dance partner. Change the wait time in BP. Create uncomfortable.

Max Anderson leads Team Fastball 17/18s to victory. The 2025, RHP, Sycamore HS, struck out 9 and gave up only 1 ER over 7 innings in the 6-2 victory. Vince Delordo (Jacob’s HS) drove in 2 runs.

Congrats To Long time Fastball USA student Joey Ingratta. (Ridgewood High School). Joe will be attending Elmhurst college next fall as well as playing baseball. Joe started with Fastball USA at 10 years old. This summer will be his 9th season with Team Fastball. Congrats!!!

Tyler Jacobsen (Kishwaukee commit) has been an outstanding catcher for for us the past 3 summers. Today he made his pitching debut throwing 1 shutout inning with a strikeout. Tyler is a great example of a Fastball USA kid. Works hard, doesn’t complain, no excuses. Be Uncommon!
