As a teenager, The Gallery used to be our hangout spot after school. It freaks me out every time I go by there and see it closed. I never would’ve imagined. I would stop in there from time to time just for nostalgia and over the years the decline I saw was heartbreaking.

Yesterday I attended an event downtown that had a clear view of Harborplace and it broke my heart to see it so empty. On days like that, it used to be full of life. Teenagers, tourists, even performers in the amphitheater. It was a ghost town and the sun was out.
