Proud moment today as I sneakily watched through the side room window as our ophthalmology ST3 on loan adjusted a patient’s CPAP settings, checked for mask leaks, sat the patient up and sorted out the sats (from 89% to 94%) looking like she’d been born to it 👍

‘Lifestyle medicine’ and ‘lifestyle diseases’ should both be banned phrases. They are descriptions that only serve to show up the privilege of the people who use them, rather than getting to the root of the determinants of health. Very aggravating.
