When you're out on a Saturday you can't help but feel that nightlife in Douglas is dying. It's quieter than ever, places closing early. Too many young people have left the island, and in a time of falling wages, the people who remain have cut socialising from their budgets.

Spain's Socialist-led government is preparing a new law that gives women the right to three days of menstrual leave a month if they suffer from period pain. Pads, tampons and contraceptives will also be provided free for marginalised women. Very cool 👌
