30 years ago I drove to Italia 90 alone in my Ford Escort and had the best 3 weeks of my life. I discovered Italy, Milan and the San Siro. I have since seen 93 games in the great Stadium. We never did win the World Cup but I made memories that we live with me forever.

2. Eric has made over 360 appearances for Spurs including 274 in the Premier League and cost just £4m. His form has dropped but he was part of one of our best squads under Pochettino. No player is perfect but I always saw Eric doing his best for Spurs. Best of luck to Eric Dier.

Last post on the Milan fans (for now). My understanding is that there was no fights, no stabbings and no midnight attacks over the 2 games. Just great and very loud and passionate support. Italian Ultras are NOT all the same and the Milan fans always behave with class and honour.

Just got back to my apartment. The queues for the metro were very long and took ages. It’s 2.45am here. I have had an absolutely brilliant day. Many Brazil fans were shouting ‘go Spurs’ and ‘Come on Spurs’ at me after the game. Richarlison’s second goal will live with me forever.

21 years ago I took this beautiful photo of Mr Tottenham Hotspur. On 8 August 2001, 35,877 of us filled White Hart Lane for the second Testimonial for ‘Sir’ Bill Nicholson. Behind Bill is his wife. Spurs beat Fiorentina 3 nil. A great night for a great man.

1/2 3 years ago today. Spurs 1 Manchester City 0. UEFA Champions League Quarter Final. Attendance 60,044. My memory is of every Spurs player and all 57,044 Spurs fans giving 100%. Every tackle, pass, shot, save was made by all of us. The loud noise when Hugo saved the penalty.

I was asked today why I was so excited about going to Red Star Belgrade. I replied because I have since 1990 always wanted to visit the great Stadium once known as the European Maracana but also because one of my favourite ever players is Dejan Savicevic who is a Red Star legend.

Thank you to the Tottenham Hotspur Supporters Trust and all the other supporters organisations for arguing for fair ticket prices, especially for away games. My ticket for tonight cost £25. 20 years ago it was £35. Remember some away tickets were as high as £63. Now we pay £30.

Late last night I renewed my 22/23 Spurs Season Ticket. The only bill that I am happy to pay. My 41st consecutive Season as a ST holder. My first was on The Shelf Enclosure (the middle section under the TV gantry). First ST cost £52.80 for 21 home First Division and 4 Cup games.

4. Next month it is 4 years since the New Stadium was opened and I am not sure why we have no naming rights deal, no ‘Sir’ Bill Nicholson statue and no Spurs logos etc on seats. I have seen Champions League games and Finals and International games at neutral Stadiums with names.

RIP Rick. He was a lovely friendly man. Over the last 15 months he has so bravely continued to come to Spurs despite the pain. He told me he liked Sunday games as it gave him an extra day to recover from Chemotherapy. My thoughts are with all his family and friends. A great Spur.

Does anyone actually care anymore about the match going fans. We make plans. Buy match tickets. Book expensive trains. Book time off work. We put up with bad performances and defeats. We are loyal fans and do everything we can to go to the Stadium. Just play the games as planned!

20 years ago. Milan beat Juventus in the 2003 UEFA Champions League Final at Old Trafford, Manchester. I saw 5 of Milan’s Champions League games that Season against Inter away, Bayern Munich away, Ajax and the Final. Milan had a great team, great players and a great manager.

RIP Stan Bowles. A great player and a great man. He sat in the Springbok Pub at QPR drinking and having a laugh with my mate Mark when a friendly against Spurs was being played. Mark didn’t know who Stan was until 90 minutes later when QPR fans came in asking Stan for autographs!

About to start the journey home from another European away trip. I remember many Seasons where we were a mid table team. I believe we have a great manager and are doing well in the Premier League and the Champions League. Every fan has their own opinions. I prefer to be positive.

38 years ago today. Anderlecht 1 Spurs 1. UEFA Cup Final First Leg. We had all of the bottom tier behind the goal where Paul Miller scored our goal. Great memories of a great Spurs European away trip.

I love Tottenham Hotspur Football Club. Going to the game used to be so very special. Now in the Stadium and on social media fans are aggressively arguing with each other. This actually upsets me as I don’t think it needs to be like this. I respect the opinion of every Spurs fan.

28 years ago. 3,000 Spurs fans made our third journey (2 late postponements due to a waterlogged pitch) to Oldham in a must win relegation battle. Goals from Vinny Samways and David Howells saw us celebrate Premier League survival. Many of us will be at Anfield on Saturday. COYS

Happy 80th birthday to Terry Venables. He is still the last Manager to win the FA Cup for Spurs in 1991. A great manager and coach. He is one of the friendliest and kindest people I have ever met. He always appreciated us fans and is a great football man. Happy birthday Terry.
