“We will suspend the cashless bail law & all pro-criminal laws that make our streets less safe. For kids education, for family future, for affordability of life, we will do everything in our power to restore NY’s glory,to save the Big Apple”Thank you our next governor
@leezeldin
!
Yes,
@GovKathyHochul
must remove
@ManhattanDA
Alvin Bragg now to avoid New York City becoming criminals’ heaven by “keep emptying the jails “ and not prosecuting trespassing and resisting arrest, armed robbery as misdemeanor, and 20 yrs maximum sentence even for cop killers!
Governor Hochul must remove Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg for his refusal to enforce the law. She has that power & must act NOW! As Governor, I would REMOVE any DA refusing to enforce the laws. We must protect our police officers & make New York streets safer.
Everyone is sympathetic to homeless people but shelter system has been massively abused and should not be. Furthermore, this shelter will be for homeless single men, residents have fully legitimate reasons to worry about the potential danger and threat brought in.
Deeply thank
@Ethanforthecity
for engage with Asian community, listen to parents on education,and particularly visit victim family of duck sauce killer case, initiated/co-organized a powerful vigil for neighbors to memorize the lost and Mrs Yan have her voice out call for justice
Small landlords were suffering from not only rent loss, but also property damage, and physical and mental harassments. They were gathering today in front of
@GovKathyHochul
‘s office demand end of the abused ERAP, improved court efficiency, their property back, peace and justice.
New York City should not tolerate such racism against Asian American people anywhere on anytime, not to say it happened in a holy testimony at City Hall! Please issue your condemnation

This lady, 60 yrs old, was arrested when her 300lbs 6ft tenant claiming she injured him. Her 78 yr old friend was arrested when arguing with her 30 yr old tenant. Police only arrest landlords whenever an argument, and issue protection order so they can never be evicted, she said
Younger kids simply cannot focus without full supervision, and many parents cannot navigate through to help. Teenagers are good on technology but suffer mentally because of the isolation. School is much safer than restaurants and subway, open them from K-12, 5 days a week now!
Last night in Philadelphia, victim was pointed by 2 guns from 3 robbers at back. The victim was brave, smart and swift. He pretended to get money in the car and fought back. One robber was shoot dead. Innocent citizens are waking up to defend themselves and demanding more justice
New York City Residents Alliance supports
@michaelhenry4ag
‘s bid to replace
@TishJames
since she is really not doing her job to prosecute criminals, if not the opposite by suppressing the police officers!
Current NYS law is over in favor of tenants.Even when bad tenants physically/mentally abuse, small landlords still do not get protected.That was not right,that was wrong,that has to be corrected now. This is my voice to
@GovKathyHochul
@NYSenateDems
hope you hear the angry crowd!
Applaud for the brave Chinese girl Christina Lu who stood up against violence but was brutally beaten on the SEPTA train in Philadelphia, hope you recover soon!
Thank you congressman
@leezeldin
for joining the call for justice for Mr. Jose Alba.
@ManhattanDA
hope you have heard people’s voice, self-defense must be protected. Drop the murder and all charges against the defender, prosecute the criminal!
Dozens of NYS residents/victims including 20+ Chinese parents & seniors left Flushing in early morning of 4/28 to meet with State legislators in Albany and request law amendments to protect life and property. I could not go myself, and helped on organizing and mobilizing people.
Another view of the peaceful rally. I believe most people are willing to help seniors children handicapped etc in real need, but feel frustrated when see work age people without health problems rely on shelters and not look for a job, besides all potential shelter brought issues.
A shockingly large rally/ parade against a homeless shelter in Gravesend. Organized by Democrats AM William Colton and CM Susan Zhuang, around a proposed shelter for single men on 86th Street in Brooklyn.

This is terrible. The Asian community did not ask for this. We strongly opposed it but our electeds and gov chose to ignore us. I’m no longer checking any boxes.
Thanks to CEC26 and CEC20 who echoed students and parents’ plea and passed resolutions demanding
@DOEChancellor
@NYCMayor
to “End the mandated use of lottery-based admissions in middle and high schools” and restore to use “academic screens” for admissions.
I was frustrated by
@NYCMayor
comment that he “have a lot of respect on”
@ManhattanDA
&praised him “has a real vision.” I don’t see how dropping crime charges to that a cop killer face only maximum 20 yrs in prison would “bring back safety”
This is where the local Bensonhurst people’s loved ones go to school & shopping, where they run businesses, they have the right to tell the city what they want or not in their community, and they do not want this 150 single men shelter, fair enough?
Parents were outraged by the very irresponsible action of the outgoing
@NYCMayor
to abolish the G&T program which has helped hundreds of thousands working class&low income families’ children to pursue theAmerican dreams. Please join us on Tuesday noon @ 52 Chambers St. to say NO!
This is a victory for students, teachers, parents,and school safety agents. Thank you for all the people who had been fighting hard to secure the safe campus
@MonaDavids
Thank you
@NYCMayor
for listening to people’s voice and making common sense decision!
Thanks to all today’s attendees! Our 2 months of protests yielded some success though, the bill was initially dividing us to 24 categories now down to 10. But still that is totally unnecessary/unacceptable. It will only hurt & divide us. And the bottom question, why only Asian?

Standing with parents,small landlords,activists &elected officials say NO to Bill 632. Companies and government always run background check to make sure working place is safe, how the management, co-op board, or landlords cannot do same to ensure the living place safe?
@nycouncil
All they ask was to put shelters in proper location without turning surrounding street and parks into garbage site and do not put students women and seniors under threat from potential attackers, was not that a fair and minimum ask?
The bill totally ignored community safety & will make renting even more expensive by discouraging landlord to rent. Certain types arrest,prosecution should not affect application,but such decision should be made by landlords rather from 31 council members!
Thank you all the parents, activists, candidates (list are too long, cannot name one by one) and
@AMWilliamColton
and
@CMPeterKoo
for getting out to the rally today!
The

this is simply unacceptable, please fix it now!
@NYCCouncil
I speak on behalf of
@Asianwave_org
yesterday “A metropolitan city has to have enough car &pedestrian traffic to support its business &prosperity to be a city, smooth the congestion by fixing the infrastructure”. Thank
@AFineBlogger
organizing the stop congestion pricing rally!
I take subway to work everyday even though it was not always on time sometime even dirty and scary; but there are occasions I have to drive and $23 fare is not acceptable. If a person gets sick stomach, he take pills to help digest, would doctor say you don’t eat or reduce meals?
Congressman
@leezeldin
said he would “declare crime emergency in State of New York on Day 1” in office to suspend cashless bail and others if legislators are not willing to cooperate, to “make sure law abiding New Yorkers in charge of New York again”.
I proudly stood with 500 warriors from west to east coast, to demand the end of racism against Asian Americans. It was unconstitutional, irrational, & self controversial for colleges to have various standards for different races and grade Asian students lower “personality” scores
I was outraged by last night’s results. Regardless of the strong oppositions from the parents and CEC members, and many CECs, PEP voted 10:2 to pass regulation which gives DOE chancellor the power to arbitrarily remove parents elected council members!

Unfortunately most people do not think that way. Most Asian individuals and organizations strongly oppose this disaggregation at least in New York, after they have reviewed the arguments on both sides.
For ones who care, I’m not running for District Leader anymore for2022. Establishment challenged my petition so I decided take a break.Thanks all supporters, you can continue count on me for public safety,quality education&Asian equality fights. Campaign also made me new friends!

I had a pleasant meeting with
