OMG there is no food shortage... we're just so accustomed to abundance we're not used to seeing even the occasional empty shelf. You know what there IS a shortage of? CLEAN WATER in so many First Nations communities. Which-unlike eating in a restaurant- actually is a human right.

Unbelievable that some Canadians are still rallying and calling for freedom while an actual war started by an actual dictator ravages Ukraine. And even after mandates have been lifted. Truly unreal.

Here’s what makes it so upsetting: we all have the right and freedom to not get vaccinated. What they’re protesting are the consequences. They’re actually protesting having to temporarily take other measures to protect the people in their communities if they make that choice.

Wearing a mask in closed public spaces, staying home if you’re sick and showing a QR code to eat your dinner in a restaurant dining room is not a lockdown, but these border blockades are.
