When you ask local people in Bali their religion they proudly say Hindu. When you ask Hindus in India their religion, they are apologetic, stating I am Hindu but I accept all religions. Why this difference? Bali is in a Muslim majority country, while India is majority Hindu.

All Hindus should teach their children the fundamentals of Vedanta, karma, rebirth, moksha, Atman, Ishvara and Brahman, before they are exposed to negative portrayals of Hinduism in schools. The youthful mind is vulnerable to social influences if not given a deeper understanding.

Bhagavad Gita is the best known book from India and essence of the Vedas. Sri Krishna is the avatar of Yoga, honored worldwide. Why should Krishna Janmabhoomi be obscured because of Aurangzeb's violence long ago? Krishna is the protector of Dharma, should we not protect Dharma?

Hindus were long denigrated as poor, uneducated and inferior. Now Hindus in the West are being criticized for being too affluent and well educated, taking over too many high level jobs and claiming to be superior. A jealous reaction continuing old anti-Hindu prejudices.

Interesting to see how many of India’s Lutyens intellectuals are angry, depressed and disturbed about India’s new power and unity under Narendra Modi. They preferred a divided and weak India under UPA that afforded them personal prominence and wealth at the cost the nation.

Though Tablighi Jamaat has been quarantined in Pakistan and restricted in many Islamic countries, India's leftist media is still trying to defend them. For them it seems radical Islamists deserve more sympathy than countering the coronavirus in India.
