This is a myth, that has been comprehensively demolished by Professor Srinath Raghavan in The Print. Besides, promoting fake news about, and false rivalries between, the builders of modern India is not the job of the Foreign Minister. He should leave this to the BJP’s IT Cell.

To make two things absolutely clear. 1. The immediate withdrawal of the NRC is a necessary first step to restore trust and heal the nation. 2. The CAA is immoral and against the spirit of the Constitution. A wise and just Government would withdraw it too.

Sir, since you have a Ph D from JNU you must surely have read more books than me. Among them must have been the published correspondence of Nehru and Patel which documents how Nehru wanted Patel as the “strongest pillar” of his first Cabinet. Do consult those books again.

Dear Barkha, By all means address the Delhi CM, but address the CMs of UP, Punjab, and Haryana too. And, above all, put these questions to the Prime Minister, whose silence and inaction with regard to this national health emergency is both disgraceful and despicable.

I am unable to breathe even inside my home in Delhi tonight. @ArvindKejriwal you need to make odd even permanent and bar all construction till early next year. We will die as we keep debating whether these are main causes or not. Every little thing helps. Please do it.

The Central Vista project intends to make the existing Parliament Building a "Museum for Democracy". This is grimly appropriate, since Museums are for things that are dead or extinct. Thus South Africa has an Apartheid Museum. And India will one day have a Museum for Democracy.
