Just realized today is my 23 year anniversary in the business. Aug. 9, 1999 I walked in the Hartford Advocate news room as a listing editor. The job paid $22k and I immediately went to find a waitressing job to support my dream of being a reporter.

The treatment for an ectopic pregnancy, a septic uterus, or a miscarriage that your body won’t release is abortion. If you can’t get those abortions, you die. There is nothing more these women wanted than that baby. I speak from experience. I think about that loss everyday.

Bad realization. It took Eversource a week to restore 955,000 in 2011 Nor’easter. Tropical Storm Irene had 600,000 without power and Hurricane Gloria had 500,000 without power at the peak. This is bad.
