Shocked and saddened by the passing of retired CHSAA assistant commissioner Bert Borgman. Bert was a big deal and really good for kids. He advanced Colorado and put his soul into his work. Bert helped me out a great number of times. He is a legend in Colorado High School Sports

Cherry Creek coaching legend Fred Tesone passed away yesterday. Coach Tesone was the Bruins head football coach for 27 years. He ushered the Bruins from the farm pastures to the big time. I have never heard a bad thing said about him and he is revered by his former players RIP

Had a sellout crowd last night to watch the Bruins. Had to close home side gates and send fans to visitor side. First time I’ve seen that. Special night with HC court, the spirit groups at halftime including Unified, as well as band performance. And the team won! #chsaa
