✨ Learnt a new Rails method today while writing migrations called "up_only". You can use "up_only" method inside the "change" method to invoke ruby code or rake tasks that should only run when creating a new table.

#Rails object instantiation is 70 times faster than OpenStruct 😲 I heavily use OpenStruct when I need object accessible with dot (.) notation especially inside Preview Mailers. I have heard a lot about its performance issues but didn't know any good alternatives until now.

Upgrading Ruby to 3.2 and Rails to 7.0.4 was smooth! Ruby: 3.2.2 from 2.7.4 Rails: 7.0.4.3 from 6.0.2.1 Got few hiccups here and there (listed below) but got the client project with API only Rails app to latest stable version for Ruby, Rails and all other gems.

TIL 📖: delegate_missing_to It allows delegation of any method called on the class to underlying object. Say in below code, you need to call a method "full_name" from User model in your View through UserPresenter; now you can! UserPresenter now also acts as User when needed.
