So from today restaurants with over 250 employees will be required to put calorie counts on menus. I cannot express how disappointed I am that this legislation has gone ahead and that the advice of experts from psychology and psychiatry has not been heeded. 🧵

The church has to stop supporting & promoting leaders with demonstrated abusive patterns of behaviour because 'they mean well' or 'they hear from the Lord' or anything else. Nothing justifies or excuses this and leaders must be held to the highest scrutiny. This is not ok.

@TheWomanfredi @_F_B_G_ This deeply saddens me. I love God and I love the church, but I’ve seen the latter deeply hurt people more than I ever want to in my whole lifetime already. Heal the broken hearted Lord. Redeem us, your church, & by your grace may I not make the same mistakes that I’ve seen 🙏

@Steeplekeeper @churchofengland It's all rather bewildering & makes it very hard if you have to continually question whether a resistance to female leadership underlies an attitude/decision/approach. I'd question why these things are not made more evident/honestly listed somewhere if a genuine/formal decision?

That was actually 1 of the longest months ever. WELL DONE for getting through it. Good news: we never have to do Jan 2021 again 🙌🏻 We may not know what Feb will bring yet - but here's what we DO know: God &love are still here, light &laughs can break through even darkest times 👊
