Will someone from the
@NRA
please comment on the senseless murder of Dr. Tamara O’Neal. Last week you told her to stay in her lane. That’s exactly where she was when she was shot.
I’ve seen countless doctors comment, but shockingly the NRA is silent.
Isn’t this your lane?

conservatives have accurately pointed out to me that doctors are not experts on firearms.
But do you wanna know what doctors are experts in? We’re experts in identifying public health crises and using evidence based solutions to save lives.
@NRA
Someone should tell the self-important

social media director to stay in their lane.
When you’ve seen what I’ve seen and you’ve had the training I’ve had, then I may consult with you how best to manage the devastating effects of gun shot injuries.
The Gun Violence and Safe Communities Act, which
@davidhogg111
advocated for, would increase federal excise tax rates to 20% on guns and 50% on ammunition up from its current 10% and 11% respective taxes.
So you’re part right. But Hogg wins.
…
It’s always satisfying when an anti-gunner reveals just how uneducated they are about firearms. Recently, this distinction goes to David Hogg, who has repeatedly called for a federal tax on firearms and ammunition — which he must not realize already exists.

Someone should tell self-important anti-gun doctors to stay in their lane. Half of the articles in Annals of Internal Medicine are pushing for gun control. Most upsetting, however, the medical community seems to have consulted NO ONE but themselves.
But most importantly; vote.
Vote in every election, local and national. Educate yourselves on commissioners, judges, and sheriffs in addition to state and federal positions. It’s absolutely so important.

Really Hughes? An NRA-backed Florida law passed in 2011 that prohibited doctors from discussing safe firearm practices with patients. It was subsequently struck down by the courts in 2017. I am a patient advocate. The NRA is not.
