A huge issue in the current game is the lack of referees across the County. Here in the South we are indebted to some great men who continue to pick up the whistle to aid games being played despite getting on in years. A reduction in abuse is badly needed to entice newcomers.

Saturday was a special day for the club. Our investment in our youth came to fruition with the help of young and old . Well done to all who came along to help to put up the new goalposts. The Juvenile Pitch is now fully complete with Ballstop nets also in place.

The U19s begin tonight around the Divison. @GrangeBally_GAA v @KilsheelanGAA in Carrick and @KillenauleRobin v @StMarys_HC in Fethard in the A grade, both at 7:30pm. In the B, @moyleroversclub v @GaaStPatricks in Ned Hall Park at 7:30pm. Always great hurling in this comp.

Another two Junior A quarter finals down for decision today starting at 6pm in Cahir. First up is @GaaStPatricks v @Ballingarry_GAA followed by @clonmel_og v @Fr_SheehysGAA Perhaps Pats might shade the opener? The second game is a really 50/50.
